Today marks the first day back in the office following the National Day holiday, though some engineers have yet to return.

Over the break, I reflected on a few areas of concern:

  1. We experienced numerous BOM and process routine errors, which disrupted production flow. I am determined to identify the root cause and implement a long-term solution. I am currently dissatisfied with our management approach, particularly within the CE team.

  2. I have been studying Gwynne Shotwell’s management philosophy at SpaceX. Her model relies on “coach-engineers” rather than having pure managers on the team.

  3. I deeply admire the concept of an all-engineer team, and I aim to cultivate that same culture within my own team.
